From 2 July 2022 to 6 January 2023 the Crociani Civic Museum of Montepulciano hosts the exhibition ''Anna Marocco. Scoperta di una pittrice poliziana di primo Novecento''.
The thirty works on display created in the 1920s show not only the artist's great pictorial sensitivity but also a strong and modern personality.
As the texts written by her family report ''Anna Morocco was a police girl who painted in a very valuable way, a century ago. She subsequently married and led her family life in various Italian cities, while remaining linked to her offices in Montepulciano, first to Villa Bianca, where she was born, then to the so-called Casina di San Biagio, acquired as a country property and then transformed into a historic villa of great prestige''.
We are waiting for you at Palazzo Carletti, the luxury hotel that offers beautiful frescoed rooms in the historic center of Montepulciano.
